I believe that going to Disney is like taking drugs. I need my fix often and I go through severe withdrawals. Fortunately, trips to Disney only hurt my and my family’s wallets, not my health. But how do you deal with the time between trips? The longer the time between vacations, the rougher it gets. I’m always shocked when people say, “The last time I went was 4 years ago” or whatever. I understand people can’t afford to go as often as my family does nor do many people care to go as often as I go. I go just a couple months in-between trips and I don’t know if I’d be able to hold up much longer than that. But for those long, and even not so long, stretches of Disney withdrawal I have to keep myself busy with Disney things. It’s the only way I can get through the time between trips. December 24, 2011

In the spirit of Christmas, and the rest of the holidays this season, I’d like to share my five favorite Disney Christmas experiences and the like. I’ve been going to Walt Disney World as long as I can remember and even before that. But a surprise vacation to the World was never less magical each time. My favorite childhood memory is the first time I remember being surprised with a Disney vacation. Read the rest of this entry »

I really don’t know if I have a favorite Disney souvenir or item. Every Disney thing I own is something I wanted or has sentimental value. I don’t have a favorite Disney shirt, I like them all. But I guess if I have to choose… Read the rest of this entry »

More Disney Commercials

December 16, 2011

I really look forward to the day I get to meet him again. I finally had the chance to watch the YouTube video, A Day in the Life of John Lasseter. Read the rest of this entry »

A New View of IllumiNations

December 15, 2011

When we started planning our January vacation, my mom said she wanted to do something special and she wanted to surprise me with something awesome. She wouldn’t even give me a hint as to what it is. I always plan our vacations so I was really anxious to know what it was so I could fit it into our vacation. Read the rest of this entry »

A few trips back, I stopped taking a million pictures of the same things I had a million pictures of anyway. We still take a family photo in front of Cinderella Castle, but rarely do I take many posed pictures anymore. I find that my favorite photos are the ones that were taken instantaneously and of moments that happen only once. Read the rest of this entry »
