I’m 62 days away from my next WDW vacation; is it too early to start packing? This is not a post about how to cope with the Disney blues, I’ve already covered that. I really just want to let you guys know how much I need some Disney in my life.

I grew up in the 90s, right in the middle of the Disney Renaissance. Disney’s tumblr like blog posted a blog post today about, well, my childhood. I know people will look at this post and be all nostalgic, and of course that’s the point. But you have to understand that this is my daily life. I still watch an hour of Boy Meets World once a week, I have most of my movies on VHS that I still watch constantly, and I can sing the DuckTales theme song without thinking about it. I do hope you look at the post because it’s awesome. Happy nostalgia!

I have three rules while I’m on a Disney vacation: no texting and walking in the parks, have a great time, and be nice to all Cast Members. The last one is very important to me. Cast Members are work unbelievably hard to make sure everyone has a magical vacation. I’ve seen many Cast Members being yelled at for things that are out of their hands or not their fault at all. I never want to be that guest, so I try my best to be nice and patient to all Cast Members. But there comes a time once every couple of trips where I come across a CM that isn’t spreading the magic the way he or she should. It’s always very disappointing to come across this CM, it’s puts a damper on the trip.  Read the rest of this entry »

True Life

April 23, 2012

Just a quick meme explaining my entire Disney life. You’re not a Disney parks fan unless you’ve seriously considered this a few times. Read the rest of this entry »

I was fortunate enough to travel to Anaheim in August for the D23 Expo. It was a truly incredible event and if you have the opportunity to go, do it. You really won’t regret it! However, I missed the Voices of the Parks presentation, what this post is about. D23 gathered a group of Disney parks voice legends together and they shared their talents. I have no idea why I missed this, but I’m very very very upset I did. I am glad, however, that some smart person took a great video of the whole show. This is truly incredible. While Disney hasn’t actually announced it officially yet, rumor has it that starting in March, Cast Members will be enforcing FastPass times. This is to gear up for the NextGen project where guests will essentially be able to plan their entire vacation before they even leave home.  Read the rest of this entry »

My Disney Bucket List

February 4, 2012

I’m not old and certainly not old enough to have a bucket list. Or that’s what people have told me when I said, “oh, I can cross that off my bucket list!” However, I like having one and being able to add to it and have things in my life I want to do. And I’m not stressed trying to get it done either, I have quite some time. But this is about my Disney Bucket List. Read the rest of this entry »

Disney Traditions

January 25, 2012

On my last vacation I realized that I have some Disney traditions that I do that I don’t even think about. I’ve just always does these and it would feel bizarre if I didn’t. They almost make my vacations the vacations they are, as small as they may be. Read the rest of this entry »

The Best Disney Investment

January 21, 2012

Well besides Disney Vacation Club. Every vacation someone in our group says, “this was the best investment I’ve ever made for a Disney trip.” Whether it’s a pair of shoes or sun glasses or finally getting annual passes, it’s always something. Well, I finally topped everyone and I couldn’t wait to share it with Disney goers who want to save some money. Read the rest of this entry »
